Ahoy there!
Chris & Dave would love you to join them for a fun filled narrowboat journey from Alvechurch Marina into the heart of Birmingham. Let the music play, let the conversation flow (and the alcohol of course but only if you wish!).
🗓 Date: Saturday 25th July 2026
⏰ Time: Arrive at Alvechurch Marina at 12:00 for a 12:30 Departure
📍 Starting Point: Alvechurch Marina (Mooring 1A15)
🎯 Destination: Birmingham City Centre (Old Turn Junction/BCN Mainline)
We'll aim to get to Birmingham for approx. 5pm, in time for a canal side tipple. We'll then dine at around 7:30pm. Take a look at the following restaurants and vote in the RSVP.

Afterwards, the night is ours to continue where we please, before catching the train home from New Street Station, back into Redditch.
What to Bring:

Alcohol (of course..., especially if you have a favourite tipple).

Comfortable clothing and some comfortable footwear for the journey.

A camera to capture some special moments and great scenery.

OPTIONAL - A change of clothes/shoes for the meal , and if you'd like a quick shower then bring a spare towel.
We'll provide food for the journey, but also feel free to bring some of your favourite nibbles. We look forward to having you aboard for an unforgettable trip!
